If you’re planning to visit Big Bend National Park, be sure to include the nearby Guadalupe Mountains National Park in your itinerary. While it’s roughly a four-hour drive between the two parks, it’s well worth the trip.
If you have only one day to spare, you can still explore the highlights of Guadalupe Mountains National Park. However, to fully experience all that the park has to offer, we recommend spending two days there. During our visit, we only had one day and missed out on the popular Guadalupe Peak Trail.
We stayed in Pine Springs Campground. Good place to stay.
