We love nature, we love animals so this is why we decided to go to Africa. After many weeks of preparation we chose Kenya and Tanzania in November. We wanted to choose good time and right place because Africa is big. Making plan was the most important moment, to see how much we can in short time. We made our plan and send to Simon Ball (Bespoken Safaris)- our travel agent in Kenya. He helped us a lot with arrangement our hotels, safari and transport. Before him, we contacted many agents and we were looking at many itineraries companies making safaris. We had private safaris in budget hotels. Nothing more you need.
Kenya
We started our journey from Nairobi. Our first night was in charmed Macushla House (Gaelic for ‘my beloved’) in suburban of Nairobi. The house is surrounded by indigenous bushland and offers privacy and space in an informal atmosphere. Owners are Irish and they are very nice and welcome us with Kenyan tea and biscuits. Close by is Giraffe Sanctuary open from 9 am to 5pm. We were too late and did not visit.
Lake Nakuru
From Nairobi we went to Lake Nakuru National Park. It took around 5h by unpaved roads, they call it Kenyan massage… We stayed in Flamingo Hill Tented Camp. Very nice place with only 24 ensuite rooms. On the way to camp we saw lot of zebras and baboons. Lake Nakuru maybe is not a big park but very beautiful and full of animals. Half day safaris were amazing.
Animals we saw: zebras, white rhino, our first leopard on the tree, Thompson’s gazelles, Grant’s gazelles, buffalos, flamingos, pelicans, waterbucks. You can see here white rhino.

Masaai Mara
Masaai Mara is just iconic park and most famous wildlife area in Africa. During our visit was very rainy that we even stuck in mud. There is lot of black cotton soil which is very bad for driving when is wet. We had too wait for car from our camp to push us out – some adventure. We stayed close to park in Ilkeliani Camp. We loved this place and tents are very nice, comfortable with bathroom. Every day we had coffee and cookies in the morning and small piece of chocolate in the evening. The hospitality was amazing.
Animals we saw: zebras, white rhino, couple of leopards on the tree, Thompson’s gazelles, Grant’s gazelles, buffalos, flamingos, pelicans, waterbucks, banded mangooses, wildebeest, topi, impalas, elephants, masaai giraffes, warthogs (pumbas:), hippos, lions, spotted hyenas, cheetahs.

Amboseli
Amboseli is known for large elephant herds. But also its really good place to see birds. Birds-watching is good round year and for migratory birds the best is April till November.
From here you have amazing view of Kilimanjaro. Everyday elephants migrate from Kilimanjaro in the morning to park for food. And evening before sunset they return to Kilimanjaro side.
Animals we saw: giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, buffalos, warthogs, hippos and hundreds of bird species: flamingos, egrets, grey crowned cranes, black ibis, pelicans, spoonbill, African jacana, herons, Hartlaub’s bustard and many more.

Tanzania
Lake Manyara
Small but stunning, Lake Manyara was a surprise favorite on our trip. With its dramatic landscapes and tree-climbing lions filled shores, this park offers a perfect mix of serenity and safari thrills.
Animals we saw: dik dik (the smallest antelope in the world), baboons, anteater.

Ngorongoro
We came to Ngorongoro expecting great views—but what we got was one of the most unforgettable mornings of our lives. From the moment you descend into the crater, you’re wrapped in raw, untamed beauty—steep emerald walls, golden grasslands stretching far below, and a landscape teeming with life. Lions lounging in the shade, elephants with massive tusks, zebras crossing the plains, and even the elusive black rhino—it all felt like a scene from a dream. It’s one of the few places on Earth where you can spot the Big Five in a single game drive, all inside a collapsed volcano that feels more like a natural wonder than a national park.
Animals we saw: zebras, white rhino, Thompson’s gazelles, Grant’s gazelles, buffalos, waterbucks, banded mangooses, wildebeest, topi, impalas, masaai giraffes, warthogs (pumbas:), lions

Serengeti
We entered the Serengeti with high hopes but nothing could have prepared us for the scale, the silence, and the sheer wildness of it all. Endless golden plains stretched to the horizon, dotted with acacia trees and the silhouettes of giraffes. Every turn of the road brought something new: a pride of lions lazing in the sun, a cheetah scanning the savanna, wildebeest thundering in the distance. One of vastness, freedom, and awe. It’s the kind of place that makes you forget time and remember wonder.
Animals we saw: dik dik, rock hyrax, zebras, Thompson’s gazelles, Grant’s gazelles, buffalos, waterbucks, wildebeest, topi, impalas, elephants, masaai giraffes, warthogs, lions, spotted hyenas, kingfisher, tortoise, crocodile, leopards, ostrich, eagle.

Zanzibar
After the dust and thrill of safari, Zanzibar felt like stepping into a dream. Turquoise waters, white-sand beaches, and the scent of spices in the air and it’s a place that slows you down in the best possible way. Whether wandering the narrow alleys of Stone Town, snorkeling in clear blue reefs, or simply watching the sun melt into the Indian Ocean, every moment on this island felt like a gentle exhale. Zanzibar is more than just a beach escape. It’s history, culture, color, and calm all rolled into one unforgettable stop.
